  15.      _g_s_c_a_n provides a graphical scanning interface.  _g_s_c_a_n can scan from
  16.      scanners, SGI screens, and SGI image files.  _g_s_c_a_n scans to SGI image
  17.      files, TIFF files, screens, printers, and standard output.  For
  18.      information on using _g_s_c_a_n, please consult the on-line help or the
  19.      _I_m_p_r_e_s_s_a_r_i_o _U_s_e_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e.

  21.      _g_s_c_a_n has the following options:

  23.      ----ffff_f_i_l_e    Use _f_i_l_e as the scanning source.  _f_i_l_e must be an SGI image
  24.                file.

  26.      ----ssss_s_c_r_e_e_n  Use _s_c_r_e_e_n as the scanning source.  _s_c_r_e_e_n must be the name of
  27.                an IRIS display.
  28.  
  29.      ----pppp        Scan to standard output.  Do not display widgets for selecting
  30.                the destination.

  32.      _s_c_a_n_n_e_r   Specify a scanner to scan from.  _s_c_a_n_n_e_r must be the name of an
  33.                installed scanner; see _s_c_a_n_n_e_r_s(1M) for scanner installation
  34.                information.

  36.      The ----ffff, ----ssss, and _s_c_a_n_n_e_r options are mutually exclusive.  If _g_s_c_a_n is
  37.      started with no options, the default scanner is used (see _s_c_a_n_n_e_r_s(1M)),
  38.      or if there is no default scanner, a scanning source must be specified
  39.      from within _g_s_c_a_n.  (please see the on-line help).
